Help us build a plan for a healthier La Crosse County by participating in the Community Health Assessment.
Every five years, the La Crosse County Health Department conducts a Community Health Assessment (CHA). This is a way to take stock of the health needs of our community, and then use that information to plan for a healthier future.
It's important that we have strong participation in the CHA that reflects our diverse county. To share your opinion about the health concerns that are most important for our community to improve, click here.
What is the CHA?
The CHA is a project that looks at health concerns from the last five years to see what conditions or health issues are causing the greatest challenges. La Crosse County residents and communities may have a variety of health issues that rise to the top.
Why does it benefit me?
When we talk with our residents and look at the data, we know there are people in our communities who have more health concerns than others. Health concerns may differ based on race, ethnicity, geographic location, income status, sexual orientation, age, and in many other ways. We know that asking our community to share their ideas of what health concerns are most important will help us. Once we know what is important to you, we can start acting on those issues.
