Come celebrate the art of storytelling at the Onalaska Library! Youth Services librarians will lead a Storytelling Workshop at 10 a.m. that will teach you how to incorporate storytelling into your everyday interactions with youth. At 11 a.m., join us to learn the culture, traditions, and stories of local refugees and immigrants. A panel of storytellers will share their experiences with the group, highlighting their journey and adjustment to life in the United States. No registration required for either session.
This activity is offered in partnership with Project FINE, a nonprofit organization in Winona, Minnesota, whose mission is to create an inclusive community by serving refugees and immigrants and building connections across cultures. Program funding provided by the Ben and Floyde Sias Library Trust Fund. This event is part of the Driftless Regional Read.
