Immunizations

Immunizations help reduce the amount of communicable disease in a community. Immunizations are available at local pharmacies, health care agencies and local health departments. Vaccines for Children: Childhood vaccines are available to eligible children ages 6 weeks through 18 years of age. To qualify, children must meet one of the following criteria:

• Enrolled or eligible for Medicaid
• American Indian or Alaska Native, as defined by the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (25 U.S.C 1603)
• Uninsured or underinsured

The Vaccines for Adults Program provides free vaccines to adults 19 and older for those uninsured or underinsured. Influenza Vaccine: Annual Flu Vaccines are an important step to drastically decrease the likelihood that you will get sick from the flu.
