A public hearing will be held Nov. 30 on a proposed update to the County's Floodplain Zoning ordinance.
A public hearing will be held by the La Crosse County Planning, Resources and Development Committee on November 30 in Room 1700 of the La Crosse County Administration Building, 212 6th St N. La Crosse.
The hearing will begin at 5PM to consider the following matter: The Planning, Resources and Development Committee proposes to repeal and recreate Chapter 16 entitled “Floodplain Zoning” of the general code of La Crosse County. The proposed ordinance is required for La Crosse County adoption by state law. The proposed regulations are intended to protect life, health, and property in floodplain areas and will govern uses permitted in mapped floodplains.
