Each year in early November, the County Board of Supervisors approves the County Administrator’s recommended budget for the upcoming year. In July department heads submit their budget requests to the Finance department. In August and
September the County Administrator meets with the department heads and finance staff to review budget requests. The County Administrator presents his recommended budget to the Board by the end of September. The Board Supervisors then review
the proposed budget during October.
