• Health Insurance:  La Crosse County offers a Preferred Provider Option (PPO) Health Insurance Plan. Members are able to use both Gundersen Health Systems and Mayo Health Systems as In-Network providers.  You will have thirty (30) days from your hire date to enroll.

• The County will contribute 6.80% of your gross wages toward your account.  As a county employee you are required to contribute 6.8% of your income towards the retirement plan.  This is the 2023 rate of contribution, which may change from year to year.

If the position is part-time, then limited benefits would be available (this would not include insurances unless 30 hours per week or more).  If the hours are less than half time, then there are no benefits.
